This two day class features Dr. Philip H. Dater, known worldwide for his suppressor design and innovation starting in the mid 1970s on through various legendary companies such as his original AWC, and the designs of Gemtech today. Dr. Dater, with the assistance of Small Arms Review Technical Editor Dan Shea, and several other suppressor luminaries, will take the attendees through an odyssey of modern designed suppressors in military and LE use, and look at as well as live test such rarities as Welrods, Delisle Carbines, and many of the original designs of today's manufacturers. Day one is classroom on history and technology as well as sound testing theory and practice, Day two is devoted to live testing at the range. This is primarily a government class, but qualified individuals may apply.
