M134 Minigun Class 3 days

This 3-day class combines the Armorer Level class with the Operator Level class including range time, and covers the DS/GS level disassembly and reassembly of the M134 “Minigun” gatling style machine gun and all of it variants including original GE manufacture as well as the M134D and M134G. Topics covered during the class include history of the system, parts description, loading and unloading procedures, tools and gages used for both Operator and Armorer level inspection and repair. The technical specifications, functions checks, and requirements of the system will be covered. The safety and warning precautions for the weapon system will be stressed heavily. Topics are not limited to these and will often move to the class participant’s questions. All class participants will leave with a thorough knowledge of the weapons system. Student leaves the course with an Operator/Armorer’s Completion Certificate rated for two years, and technical and general operator manuals and data to ensure continued reference material for later use. Class includes live fire at the range.
