M 134 Miniguns are one of the most awe inspiring sights on the modern battlefield. The Minigun is an almost mythical beast, it is a true mechanical engineering feat! The weapon system fires more than 3000 rounds a minute, reliably. In this class attendees will receive a brief description of the class contents, then be trained on history and identification of the components of the system, moving into practical (hands on) training for assembly and disassembly. Attendees are trained in loading and unloading procedures, the mechanics of feeder/delinker operation, motors, controls, mounts, and above all else, safety with the system. Class includes live fire at the range.
