The Black Rifle, probably the most popular rifle in the US. It has been around for over forty years now and has evolved through countless modifications. In this class, will start with a brief description of the class contents, then move into identification of the components of the system, then practical (hands on) training. Students begin with field stripping, lubrication procedures and the proper cleaning requirements for different environments. Next is training the operator for inspection of the weapon. When the students are proficient, they are moved into Armorer level disassembly, discussing the inspection and maintenance of the components, then reassembly of the weapons and full function checks. Class is topped of with gauging techniques so that you know the condition of the weapons under your control.
